征稿函暨一号通知

第22届国际城市语言学会年会（The 22nd Annual Conference of the International Association of Urban Language Studies）拟于2025年9月19日至22日在365美高美游戏大厅召开。会议由365美高美游戏大厅语言与传播365美高美游戏大厅、国际城市语言学会（IAULS）和中国语言战略研究中心（南京大学）共同主办。诚挚邀请各位学者踊跃投稿，拨冗参会。

当今世界瞬息万变，社会组织日益复杂，科技不断进步，社会发展与科技创新不断融合，因此呈现出一系列语言与传播的新场景。有鉴于此，本届会议主题设为“语言与传播新场景”，旨在促进对语言交际功能的跨学科研究，以及对人工智能时代大众传播发展趋势的认识。本届年会传承城市语言研究国际学术研讨会的学术传统，欢迎从不同视角，运用定量和定性方法开展实证研究。年会发表包括但不限于以下议题：

（1）语言文字应用社会新场景

（2）语言技术应用新场景

（3）儿童语言习得和教育

（4）城市语言规划和语言政策

（5）城市形象中的语言符号和传播策略

（6）语言多样性与智慧城市

（7）新型城镇化与城市方言

（8）社会语言学的新课题

会议主办方已邀请多位国内外知名专家学者到会演讲，包括：李宇明（北京语言大学）、李嵬（伦敦大学365美高美游戏大厅）、祝华（伦敦大学365美高美游戏大厅）、朝日祥之（日本国立国语研究所）、James Walker (墨尔本大学)、李国芳（英属哥伦比亚大学）、史皓元（香港中文大学）；范德博（莱顿大学）等。

有意参会者需提交论文摘要，具体要求如下：

（1）摘要：包含论文题目、正文、关键词及参考文献。不出现作者任何个人信息。

（2）语言：中文、英文或日文。 

（3）字数：中文600字，英文500字，日文800字(字数限制包含题目、正文和关键词）。 摘要中不包含图表，参考文献不超过5项。 

（4）摘要递交PDF版，文件名称：论文题目的前五个字.pdf，如：XXXXX.pdf。

（5）摘要以附件形式发送至邮箱uls2025@163.com；邮件标题：ABSTRACT_ULS22；邮件正文包含：作者姓名、职称、单位名称、论文题目以及信箱地址。

1、摘要投稿日期：2025年2月15日—2025年5月30日23时59分（北京时间）。

2、录用通知、参会邀请函发放日期：2025年6月30日。

会务费：非IAULS学会会员会务费为人民币1200元，IAULS学会会员会务费为人民币600元，差旅费等其他费用自理（非会员在收到摘要录用通知后30日内加入国际城市语言学会可享受会员待遇）。

The 22nd Annual Conference

of the International Association

of Urban Language Studies

Call for Papers Notice No. 1

The 22nd Annual Conference of the International Association of Urban Language Studies (ULS22) will be held at Beijing Jiaotong University, from September 19th to 22nd, 2025. The conference is jointly hosted by the School of Language and Communication Studies of Beijing Jiaotong University, the International Association of Urban Language Studies (IAULS) and China Research Centre for Language Strategies (Nanjing University). All authors are kindly encouraged to contribute to and help shape the conference through submissions of their research abstracts and papers.

The conference theme is “New scenarios in language and communication”.  New scenarios in language and communication emerge in the changing world today, as a result of the increasing complexities of social organization, the advance of technologies, and the combination of the social and technological innovations. The theme of the conference intends to promote interdisciplinary study of language in its communicative functions and to enhance the awareness of the developing trends in human communication in the age of artificial intelligence. Following the tradition of the Urban Language Seminar (ULS) series, the 2025 ULS conference welcomes research on languages from diversified perspectives, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Other related topics include, but are not limited to:

(1) New Scenarios of Language Application in Society

(2) New Scenarios of Language Technology Application

(3) Child Language Acquisition and Education

(4) Urban Language Planning and Language Policy

(5) Linguistic Symbols and Communication Strategies in City Image

(6) Linguistic Diversity and Smart Cities

(7) New Urbanisation and Urban Dialects

(8) New Topics in Sociolinguistics

The conference organizers have invited the following internationally-renowned scholars to deliver keynote speeches: Li Yuming (Beijing Language and Culture University) (confirmed), Li Wei (University College London) (confirmed), Hua Zhu (University College London) (confirmed), Yoshiyuki Asahi (National Institute for Japanese Language and Linguistics) (confirmed), James Walker (University of Melbourne) (confirmed), Guofang Li (University of British Columbia) (TBC), Richard Van Ness Simmons (The Chinese University of Hong Kong) (TBC), and  Marinus van den Berg (Leiden University) (TBC), among other distinguished scholars.

Participants are required to submit an abstract of their paper, with the following specifications:

1.  The abstract should include the paper title, main body of the abstract, keywords, and references.

2.  Language: Chinese, English, or Japanese.

3.  Word count: 600 characters for Chinese, 500 words for English, and 800 characters for Japanese (the word limit includes the title, main body, and keywords, but does not include references). The abstract should not contain any charts or graphs, and references should not exceed five items.

4.  The abstract should be submitted in PDF format, with the file name being the first five words of the paper title: XXXXX.pdf; no personal information should appear in the file.

5.  The paper abstract should be sent as an attachment to the dedicated email address uls2025@163.com; the email subject should be: ABSTRACT_ULS22; the email body should include: the author’s name, title, affiliation, paper title, and email address.

1. Abstract submission: Feb 15th, 2025 (start) --- May 30th, 2025 (deadline)

2. Notification of acceptance and sending of invitation letters: June 30th, 2025

Registration fee: The registration fee for non-IAULS members is 1200 RMB; for IAULS members, it is 600 RMB. Membership discounts available for new members joining within 30 days of acceptance notification. Travel and other expenses are to be covered by the participants themselves.

国際都市言語学会の第22回年次大会（The 22st Annual Conference of the International Association of Urban Language Studies）は、2025年9月19日から22日にかけて中国の365美高美游戏大厅で開催されます。本年次大会は、365美高美游戏大厅言語コミュニケーション学部と国際都市言語学会（IAULS）および中国言語戦略研究センター（南京大学）による共催です。皆様の積極的なご応募をお待ちしております。

世界情勢の急速な変化、社会組織の複雑化、技術の進歩、社会の発展と技術革新の継続的インテグレーションは、言語とコミュニケーションに一連の新たな課題をもたらしました。こうした背景を踏まえ、本年次大会のテーマは「言語とコミュニケーションの新たな場面」と設定されました。これは、言語のコミュニケーション機能に関する学際的な研究を促進し、人工知能時代におけるマス?コミュニケーションの発展や動向を把握することを目的としています。本年次大会では、都市言語セミナー（ULS）の伝統に従い、言語を多角的な視点から研究し、量的?質的アプローチを用いた実証的研究を歓迎します。具体的には以下のトピックを含みますが、これらに限定されない研究も歓迎します。

(1) 言語文字の社会的応用に関する新たな場面

(2) 言語技術の応用に関する新たな場面

(3) 子どもの言語習得と教育

主催者は、李宇明（北京語言大学）、LI WEI（ロンドン大学カレッジ）、祝華（ロンドン大学カレッジ）、朝日祥之（日本国立国語研究所）、James Walker（メルボルン大学）、李国芳（ブリティッシュコロンビア大学）（確認中）、Richard Van Ness SIMMONS（香港中文大学）（確認中）、Marinus E. van den Berg (ライデン大学) (確認中)など国内外から多くの著名な専門家や学者を会議に招待する予定である。

参加希望者は「発表申込書」を提出してください。具体的には以下のとおりです。

（1）要旨にはタイトル、内容、キーワード、参考文献を含めること

（2）言語：中国語、英語、日本語

（3）文字?ワード数：中国語は600字以内、英語は500ワード以内、日本語は800字以内（文字数制限にはタイトル、キーワード、本文が含まれますが、参考文献は含まない）。　

　要旨には図表を使用しないこと、参考文献は5件以内にしてください。

（4）要旨はPDF形式で提出してください。ファイル名は論文タイトルの最初の5文字（XXXXX.pdf）にしてください。要旨内に個人情報は含まれないでください。

（5）要旨は、専用メールボックスuls2025@163.comに添付ファイルとして送信してください。メールの件名は「ABSTRACT_ULS22」とし、メール本文には、著者名、所属名、職名、論文タイトル、メールアドレスを記載してください。

2. 採択通知と参加招待状の発行：2025年6月30日

本大会参加費はIAULS非会員1200元、IAULS会員は600元です。旅費等その他の費用は自己負担（採用通知書を受け取ってから 30 日以内に国際都市言語学会に入会した非会員は参加費割引の対象）になります。
